Video Games and my daughter

Yesterday I taught Zoe to play Soul Caliber. I am sure that being a weapon master will come in handy one day.

Going outside

Creativity goes outside today. We are hoping the weather will be pleasant and just barely warm enough. The outside of our little house is coming along nicely as we prepare for a little girl’s birthday.

Anyone else prepared for outdoor activities today?

Holding her first crayon

While I was home today, it dawned on me that I have not been creative in an important part of my life; family life. The impulse to make something new permeates everything I do. Part of my time is used educating children in art skills and the power of seeing things in a new way. Another part of my time is taken up with communicating the awesomeness of the Creator through arts and technology. I have not been imitating the Creator at home.

That changes today.

Today I started a sketchbook for Zoe. Today, blue and green crayons were brought out and she basically used them as drumsticks on the first page. Very cute!

I look forward to doing this regularly.
